Doggy Daycations for the Solar Eclipse!
Dallas Animal Services (DAS) is joining in on the festivities for the total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024, by opening the Doggy Daycation program to the public. Everyone is welcome to participate, and outings can last anywhere from one hour to all day.
To book a Doggy Daycation, Dallas residents and visitors coming to witness the solar eclipse can make an appointment at . 50 slots will be available until filled.
Daycations give the shelter valuable insight on how dogs behave outside of the shelter environment and provide dogs with enrichment and increased visibility. Enjoy the eclipse with a furry friend while giving a dog a break from the shelter.

Servicios de Animales de Dallas (DAS, por sus siglas en inglés) se une a las festividades del eclipse solar total del 8 de abril de 2024 ofreciendo al público el programa Doggy Daycation o paseos para perros. Todos son bienvenidos a participar y los paseos pueden durar desde una hora hasta todo el día completo.
Para reservar un paseo para perros, los residentes de Dallas y visitantes que vengan a presenciar el eclipse solar pueden hacer una cita en . Solo habrá 50 espacios disponibles.
Los paseos le brindan información importante al refugio sobre cómo se comportan los perros fuera del entorno del refugio y, a su vez, les proporciona enriquecimiento y mayor visibilidad a los perros. Disfrute del eclipse con un amigo peludo dándole un descanso del ambiente del refugio.
