3 Days, 3 Weeks, 3 Months Guide

If you recently adopted from DAS or another shelter, we would encourage you to look over our 3-3-3 Rule Flyer which covers what you can expect from a recently adopted pet at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months. Going to a new environment can overwhelm many pets.


If you are still unable to keep your pet or rehome them directly, please make an owner surrender appointment to begin the surrender process with Dallas Animal Services.
