Calming the Canines

While many of us celebrate with fireworks, the loud noises can be stressful and overwhelming for animals in the shelter. That’s why we’re inviting members of our community to join us for Calming the Canines on July 4 from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Spend quiet time with our shelter pets by reading a book, playing a soothing instrument, or simply relaxing nearby with a comfortable chair or blanket. Your presence can help provide comfort during one of the noisiest nights of the year.

*No registration required, but parking is limited so consider ride-share or arrive early!
