These are the pets most in need of placement. Some of these pets are available for adoption and foster; others may only be tagged by a Dallas Animal Services Rescue Partner. If you have any questions about a pet posted to this list, please email DASRescue@dallas.gov.

 

Rescue Only: These animals may only be pulled by an approved DAS rescue partner. Rescue partners, please email DASRescue@dallas.gov with the Animal ID number of the pet you wish to pull from DAS.

 

Emergency Rescue: These animals need immediate placement with an approved DAS rescue partner due to their serious medical condition. Rescue partners, please email DASRescue@dallas.gov with the Animal ID number of the pet you wish to pull from DAS.

Adopt/Rescue: These animals are at risk of euthanasia and are eligible for adoption or foster by the public. To adopt, please come to 1818 North Westmoreland Road. They may also be pulled by an approved DAS rescue partner or by a DAS foster. Existing DAS fosters can make a foster pick up appointment.
